TikTok to be unbanned from the list of 59 Chinese Apps

India made a shocking decision to remove 59 Chinese apps in India due to a lack of data privacy and against the sovereignty of India. Out of all the 59 apps, TikTok is the most notable app. The Video sharing application has more than 24+ million users. Indians occupy around 60% of the entire TikTok downloads. Many youths to various ages of people started trending in the internet and become celebrities in recent times.

Chinese based mobile application has daily active users. This app is not only used for entertainment made many to show up their talents and skills in this application. On the last day of TikTok users started posting several send off videos and asked them follow in Instagram. Many others question central government for banning the application will not equals the life of 20 martyred soldiers in the borders.

TikTok officially announced that they have never shared any videos and informations of any users to any government, any agencies especially to Chinese it government. Also adding to the statement Tiktok will not share any information to any 3rd parties in future also. Tik Tok is continuously complying all data security and system requirement policies of India Law and not violated them.

Tik Tok is available in 14 Indian Languages with more than Million of users, artists, storytellers, educators, and performers. As per Tik Tok they have not made any data breach of users and have time to prove the government. Tiktok officials will meet the Government Stakeholders and respond to the issue. If the answers by TikTok accepted by Indian officials Tik Tok will be unbanned shortly in India.

After the Unban no users will lose their data from their account.

On June 29, 2020, the Govt. of India decided to block 59 apps, including TikTok. We are in the process of complying with the Government of India’s directive and also working with the government to better understand the issue and explore a course of action. Ensuring the privacy and security of all our users in India remains our utmost priority.
