Food Safety Control board head Amudha in a recent press interview to new channel stated that online food delivery partners like Swiggy, Zomato, and Uber eats gets most complaints from customers. She also mentioned that around 30% of the complaints are made against online delivery partners. She also quoted an incident which was a viral content in social media a few months before. A Zomato guy eating the food packet and packing it back neatly and delivering it back to the customer.
Food Saftey Control board also announced WhatsApp complaint number which received around 5000+ complaints out of them 4000+ are made on dairy adulteration complaints between 2018-2019. Amudha also mentioned that most of the licensed hotels are regularly examined offered to make sure the cleanliness of the restaurant. She even mentioned avoiding parcels in the hotel.
