Seven people have been killed in a missile attack on Yemen’s military base.
Houthi forces in Yemen killed seven people, including relatives of the commander-in-chief, in a missile attack on a Saudi-backed military base in Marib province, northeast of Sana’a, On Tuesday.
The Saudi-led coalition fighting the Iran-backed Houthi militia announced a one-month ceasefire agreement on April 24 due to the coronavirus infection. However, at present Houthi is not responsible for the attack.
Army sources said that two of his sons and one son-in-law were killed and 5 others were killed.
Yemen is split between the Saudi-backed government in the south and the north-based Houthi movement.
The Saudi-led coalition has intervened in Yemen’s domestic affairs for months after the Houthi group expelled the government from power in the capital, Sanaa, in late 2014.
