Elon Musk’s SpaceX will launch NASA astronauts to the International Space Station in the mission Demo-2 on Wednesday. This is the first time in the history of World that a commercial Aerospace company has carried humans to the Earth orbit. Despite the Global pandemic SpaceX’s crew working to make the launch.

This operation is carried by both the private and government sectors of the United States. The United States has not launcher any astronauts into space since 2011 after the space shuttle program ended. NASA has to send astronauts to Russia and train on the countries Soyuz spacecraft. A single-seat will cost around $86 million for NASA. The space agency decided to create its own replacement shuttle with the help of private sectors capable of safely transferring astronauts to International Space Station.

NASA can even do those operations but instead of spending too much time on sending astronauts to International Space Station NASA decided to spend more time exploring the deeper solar system. So in order to also make cost-cutting NASA handed over the operation to private sectors.

NASA signed to contracts with Boeing and SpaceX in 2014.

BOEING sign the contract worth $4.2 billion to build Starliner vehicle from scratch.

SpaceX signed another contract worth 2.6 Billion to create a crew worthy version of the Dragon spacecraft which is currently carrying cargo to and from the International Space Station. NASA already spending money e towards space X development for Dragons spacecraft for transporting cargo to International Space Station.

If space X Corporation works fine it would be a great relief for NASA and there won’t be any rights for American astronauts to travel to Russia.
