Google has blocked TikTok Video blogging mobile app from playstore. Madras Court on April 3rd Ordered Center to band TikTok mobile application mentioning that it encourages pornography and make child users vulnerable to sexual predators. TikTok officials moves to Supreme court against Madras high court orders. Supreme Court on Monday refuses to lift the ban of Tik Tok application ordered by Madras high court.
Madurai high court orders the app host like Google play store and App Store to remove the TikTok app since it shows inappropriate contents, including pornography. Madras high court also bans Prank shows should not be made. Madras high court also bans users for sharing or uploading videos in social media like Facebook, Whatsapp, Twitter, and Youtube. The petition was filed by Senior lawyer Muthu Kumar from Madurai.
TikTok was launched in 2019 which is owned by China’s Beijing ByteDance Co. TikTok has several billion downloads in Google play store also. Earlier TikTok was known as Musically.
