Actress Amala Paul rejected India’s one of the notable director Mani Ratnam’s magnum-opus Ponniyin Selvan in a recent interaction with the media. Ponniyin Selvan is long dream story of many tamil people. Former Actor and Chief Minister of Tamilnadu wanted to do the Ponniyin Selvan movie and brought the script. Film requires Major lead roles and Big Casting. “Not everyone can act in every film. I felt I can’t do justice to the role in Mani sir’s Ponniyin Selvan. I felt it’s better to not do a role that doesn’t suit me and face unnecessary criticism later. I hope that I’ll get another opportunity to act in Mani sir’s film in the future,” told Amala Paul.
